NCGR Certification

The Baltimore Astrological Society supports those pursuing professional credentials through the NCGR Professional Astrologers Alliance. NCGR certification offers a structured pathway for astrologers seeking to deepen their knowledge and demonstrate competency at a professional level.

Whether you are exploring certification for the first time or advancing through the levels, BAS connects you with information and a community of peers who share that goal.

Learning to cast a natal chart is one of the most rewarding first steps in astrology, and the Baltimore Astrological Society is here to help you build that foundation with confidence. Whether you are brand new to the practice or returning to deepen your skills, understanding how to calculate and interpret a chart opens the door to richer readings and more meaningful self-reflection. The Society offers guidance on trusted resources, from reliable ephemeris data to user-friendly chart calculation tools, so you can focus on the interpretive craft rather than wrestling with the mechanics. With a supportive community of fellow students and experienced practitioners, you will find encouragement at every stage of your journey toward chart literacy.

For those ready to take their practice to a professional level, the Baltimore Astrological Society actively supports members pursuing formal credentials through the NCGR Professional Astrologers Alliance. Certification represents a meaningful commitment to ethical practice, continued education, and a shared standard of excellence within the astrological community. By connecting students and practitioners with the resources, mentorship, and accountability that certification requires, the Society helps ensure that the field remains credible and well-respected. Whether you are just beginning to consider professional work or are well along the path, the Society's community offers both practical guidance and the kind of warm encouragement that makes ambitious goals feel attainable.

Beyond formal study, the Baltimore Astrological Society fosters a welcoming space where curiosity meets camaraderie. Monthly gatherings, workshops, and shared conversations allow members to explore everything from traditional techniques to modern interpretations in an atmosphere that feels more like a gathering of friends than a classroom. The Society's mission is rooted in education and community, making it a natural home for anyone who wants to learn astrology in a supportive, human-centered setting. Whether you join an event in person or connect through the Society's online channels, you will find a group of people genuinely excited to share what they know and learn alongside you.
